The girl teleported in the blink of an eye, reappearing behind Aima and launching a Psycho Cut attack.

Aima barely dodged, the attack. The girl had become frighteningly fast due to her transformation.

Aima could evader her attacks, that was simple enough. But in defense, all she could really do was dodge, occasionally throwing an Ember attack at the girl as a distraction and letting her Flash Fire absorb the rebound.

They were like blurs on the lake shore, sometimes even running across the lake in their frenzy.

Then a disembodied voice telepathically called out to Narakun.

“Narakun.” Natsuki thought-spoke. “Do you by any chance know how to use Taunt?”

She sounded quite calm when thinking this, but she was nowhere to be seen.

((Too lazy to PM you, so I worked it into the RP. =3=))

Narakun smirked, then thought-spoke back: Not in the most literal form, but something along those lines, yes.

Just say when.

"Alright." Natsuki thought back, ending the conversation there.

She then directed her thoughts to Aima. "Aima, try to summon up the biggest Flamethrower attack you can."

Aima's face showed no sign shock as she continued to dodge, but her thoughts showed otherwise. "Are you crazy?! If she reflects it, we're done for!"

"Just do it!" Natsuki thought back, sounding more strict this time.

Aima's mind was silent. It was the only chance she had. She screeched to a halt on the northern shore, and held her hands above her head, orange flames slowly building up between them.

The girl was coming at her fast, laughing maniacally. Her eyes, which blazed with madness and glee, were locked on Aima, and her will was so intensely focused, that she failed to sense the icy cold energy that flew up from the trees in the south, and shot towards her on pale blue wings...

Natsuki soared over the lake, her new form revealed by the shimmering moon.

A crest of three dark-blue rhombus-shaped feathers were on her forehead.

Her hair seemed normal, but her pony-tail had darkened, and lengthened into a long, dark-blue ribbon, resembling a tail.

Her legs had turned gray, and since she had taken off her shoe, her feet looked elongated, with talons instead of toenails.

But what stood out most of all, were her pale blue wings, which spanned out to a good 5 feet on each side.

She zoomed on, shards of ice suddenly surrounding her now. She was only 15 feet away when she launched her Ice Shard attack, pulling up just in time before she collided with the girl.

The girl, who had been charging at aim at a high speed, was pelted with the ice shards, sending her flying just over Aima's head, blood flying behind her.

There was a crash in the trees, and then there was silence. The silence weighted down on them so heavily, it threatened to suffocate them.

Then, a figure materialized just above the center of the lake, surrounded by a powerful lavender aura.

It was the girl, covered in blood, panting hard. She was slowly recovering, blue light tending to her wounds. Here eyes were filled with more madness now than ever before.

"You..." She muttered, her rage building as she glared at Natsuki above her.

"NOW!" Natsuki thought to Narakun as she hovered high above the lake.

Narakun's reflexes worked at lightning speed in her current form--Natsuki had barely finished cueing her before Narakun had shadow-walked to directly in front of Mitsuki.

Narakun slapped Mitsuki across the face and smirked menacingly. "Bratty kid, you can't even dodge an easy attack like that one?"

((OOH YEAH, B*TCH-SLAP!!!! >8D))

The slap echoed through the mist, seeming to go on forever.

The girl just stood there, her brain seeming to be unable of processing the effect of the slap. She said nothing for what seemed like an eternity, then she vanished and reappeared behind Narakun, already charging, her eyes blood red now with fury.

In what seemed like a second, she was already charging an Aura Sphere attack.

She suddenly was above the lake, above Natsuki, above them all, the Aura Sphere held high over her head, shimmering in colors of violet and lavender. It had grown to be the size of a two-story building, and growing steadily.

The girl then lashed out, bearing down on Natsuki first, her attack churning with incalculable power. The end seemed near for them all, and then...

...

...

She stopped in her mid-air tracks, Aura Sphere still held high. She was face to face with Natsuki, eyes locked with one another.

The girl then cried out in pain as the Aura Sphere engulfed her and she plummeted towards the lake below, still immersed in the violet and lavender light.

And then, before the hit the water's surface, the Aura Sphere dispersed, sending a shock wave out across the lake in what was an aura explosion.

The girl was gone, and again, silence pierced the night.

Natsuki landed on the northern shore, next to a bewildered Aima, and folded her wings behind her with grace.

"Farewell, Mitsuki." Natsuki thought to herself, and herself alone, keeping her emotion inside like she always had.

Narakun stared at where Mitsuki had just been, then looked at Natsuki and blinked.

After a moment, she asked, "...what exactly did happen to Mitsuki? Was she simply consumed by her own uncontrolled power?"

Natsuki had a thought-speak channel open with Aima and Narakun.

"You are very observant." Natsuki said in their minds. "Earlier you might have noticed the Ice Shard attack I launched. The two aura-boosting capsules you gave me, Narakun, were encased within the shards of ice.

Mitsuki was too preoccupied with trying to attack Aima, that she couldn't defend against it, and her body, already in a state of heightened aura, quickly absorbed the capsules, and made use of them.

When in her Mewtwo form, she's always on the very edge of having a completely unstable aura. This is a powerful, but dangerous weapon. It is, how do you say.... A double-edged sword."

The clouds rolled in and covered the moon, and the lake, which once basked in the moon's light and glowed brilliantly, became dark and quiet once more.

Aima was cloaked in flame for another split second, illuminating the shore around her. All around the flame, you could see the shore, thoroughly destroyed, and just a faint outline of the Gyarados, bleeding and broken, yet seemingly at peace.

And then the flame was gone, and Aima, who was completely fine just a moment ago, looked drained tired. She fell on one knee, panting heavily as the fog slowly crept in.

Natsuki, whose wings shone with the gleaming moon, seemed to turn to sparkling silver dust, and were blown away on the wind.

Both the girls had returned to normal, but it would be a while before the academy would do the same.

Natsuki, seemingly unfazed by her return to normal, strode over to Pyrex.

"And who is this?" She said. "Someone in need of medical attention, I would assume?" She examined his wounds carefully and thoughtfully.

Narakun had to admit that Natsuki's plan had been ingenious and executed perfectly.

She watched Aima and Natsuki transform with envy. They were shielded from the moon's curse by clouds; nothing could do that for Narakun.

Narakun groaned. She'd completely forgotten about Pyrex in the fight.

"Pyrex is always in need of some kind of attention," she muttered.

"Oi, Pyrex, can you hear me?" she asked somewhat loudly. It was a good idea to first test if he was conscious.

Narakun wrote:

Aima looked over at Pyrex, but did nothing because her own injuries were distracting her. She then fainted, and would have painfully hit the stones on the shore, if Miroku hadn't released himself from his Pokéball and caught her just in time.

Reminded that they could use their Pokémon again, Natsuki made a decision, and said: "We should get him to The Nurse's Office."

She pulled out a Pokéball and tossed it in the air. In a flash of white light, a Xatu materialized next to Pyrex, alert and ready for his master's orders.

"Maenek, you can you carry this person to the academy?" Natsuki asked calmly.

The Xatu nodded, and turned towards Pyrex, and lowering himself to bear him.

The Xatu pulled Pyrex onto his back, and looked at Miroku. They both nodded, and took off, gracefully soaring towards the academy.
