The Restoration

Ice covered the ground. In a few select places the tops of trees emerged from the ground. A small cabin could be seen, it was thoroughly trashed.

Davis saw his team, Kadence was leading them.


Out of the corner of his eye Davis saw a piece of paper. "No time to pick it up, we've got an avalanche to takke care of."

Draco landed nearby, briefly stirring the air.

"Avalanche? What's this?" Durandal asked.

((That was supposed to be thought, oh well.))

Davis looked at Durandal. "Yeah, see this huge snow drift? Came here because of the explosion at the ice caverns in your crazy last ditch move, you know?"

Davis garbbed a snow shovel and began to work at the drift.

(((Oh. You should probably italicize thoughts.)))

"Our 'last ditch move' spared your lives. As for this snow- mind if we try to melt it?"

Davis looked up at Durandal. "Sure, why not?"

Davis began to get the rest of the men to get them away from the blast area and get them to bring out their pokemon.

He stopped and looked at the ground. He grabbed a piece of paper.

"Hey, what's on that piece of paper?" Durandal asked.

"Some math," said Davis as he pocketed it.

Durandal raised a distrustful eyebrow, but then simply put his hand on Draco's neck. Draco promptly let out a gush of fire which began to melt large quantities of the snow.

Davis sat down and began to read the document. Strangely, it looked just like one of Pyrex's documents. When the fire was done melting the ice he got up. There was rubble everywhere.

"Alright, let's get going," said Davis as he released a Hitmonlee. "Rock smash!" The hitmonlee began to attack the stone.

Durandal hopped off of Draco.

"Alright, good job. Return!" Durandal returned Draco to his pokeball, then pulled another from his belt.

"Go! Caesar!" Durandal shouted. The Larvitar jumped out and promptly hurried for the rocks rather hungrily.

((Hey, Pyrex has survived 3! GOODNESS! Where's my EXP? Oh right, he is DEAD))

Davis watched his pokemon make quick work of the stone. Kadence approached, "It's good to see those people finally helping us out," she said.

Davis nodded.

Arashi sighed, and unclipped two Pokeballs from his waist. He let out the Pokemon in them, and an Electavire and Ampharos appeared.

"What do you need me to do?" he questioned.

Durandal shook his head at the "normals."

"You do realize that the teachers here are just as... Peculiar as we are, right?" Durandal said.

"Yeah? You think we're daft?" asked Kadence as she approached Durandal. "To bad they never TEACH us anything. I've been on this rock for 2 years and I've learned NOTHING about pokemon."

Durandal cocked his head to one side, "Then why do you stay here?"

"Because my mom sent me to this school and she isn't going to take me back."

((Um Pyrex, the school has just barely been open for like...2 years. So you might want to change that.))

"I knew something was going on here." a rough voice said. Ryo stepped up in front of everybody so they could see him. He was standing next to Soukon, who was in a battle stance. Ryo signaled for him to relax, and Soukon did. "So what's up with this?" he nodded his head to Kadence and Davis. "There's no data about you two from Kaen's logs. so you better explain yourselves on why you're here." he gave a menacing look, before he turned to Arashi.

"R-Ryo!...I thought you would be with Boss." Arashi stammered from surprise. Ryo smirked and answered,

"Tch, Kaen was setting up his classroom. He said we might as well start acting like this is really a school. It was pretty boring, so I left. The better question is, Arashi, what are you doing here? And since you're here, I'm guessing Satoru is here as well. 'Cept I don't see him."

"Well, that's it. Satoru is looking for Boss..." Arashi looked down, Ryo chuckled.

"Fair enough." he turned to Kadence and Davis, and raised an eyebrow. "I'm waiting."

((YES SIR! EDITED SIR!))

Hate burned in Kadence's eyes. She approached Ryo, "Well, I may not be in your well fashioned log book. But really, why woudl I want to be spied on all of the time?"

Kadence stormed away as quickly as she could.

Davis looked at Ryo, "Believe it or not, we don't like being spied on by anyone, unless they have good intentions about it. Now, I know your type, and I know you don't have any good intentions about you.

"But still, I'm not going to storm off. My name is Davis, and my friend is named Kadence. We were some of the first students on this lunatic island. We are trying to fix the mess that got made earlier, so please, help."

Ryo raised an eyebrow, and smirked. "If you want a fight kid, you'll get one." he growled, and Soukon slid back into a fighting stance. Arashi stepped in front of Ryo.

"Ryo, we're not here to fight. Can you try to get along? I'm sure Boss would appreciate that." Arashi asked him, Ryo sighed, and muttered something. He snapped his head to Arashi,

"Fine." he growled again, and sighed. He signaled for Soukon to relax again, and cleared his throat. He looked at Davis.

"Where do you need my help?" he said in a forced tone.

Durandal got tired of watching the scene unfold.

"Look, Davis, I don't know why you're stuck here. But you're not the only one. And those of us who are a tad odd- we didn't ask to be. And those of us currently here have no more malicious intent than you do! So give us a break with your racism and resentment, 'kay?"

"Look, you all might have wonderful intentions, but still, I don't want to get screwed over because I'm stuck here. And I know you guys aren't stuck here, none of you guys are forced into one place."

A rumble could be heard, icy rubble began to fal from the side of the mountain.

"Hey, we're not going to sacrfice you guys to sa- Woah! Guys, let's get away from here!" Durandal shouted, as he noticed the building avalanche. He withdred Caesar, sent out Draco, and then took off, pausing only to have Draco pick up Davis and his Hitmonlee.

When they landed Davis looked at the new rubble, he noticed a child sitting on the rubble.

"P... Pyrex?"

((SHOCKING!))

(((So he isn't Davis... But I was right about him not dying!)))

Durandal was only shocked momentarily. "So, I was right. You made it!"

"What have they done to you?" yelled Davis reachign for him. His hand slipped right through the body.
