Holiday Feast

Pyrex walked into the cafeteria. He saw all of the sweat meats and desserts. His favorite part of the holidays was the giant feast served at the PNC before break. What was there not to love?

Durandal entered with his two brothers and cousin. They didn't want to stand in the rain to watch an entrance battle. And they didn't want to think about the dread of Jaffar's certain return.

So this wonderful feast was just the thing to take that off their minds.

Pyrex waved towards the new comers. He had already stuffed his face with sweat treats.

"Hoi! What's your names?"

((When does this take place, exactly?))

(((Simultaneously with Blandcandrin and Stella's entrance exam.)))

"I believe we've met once before. I'm Durandal, and these are my brothers Raven and Wulf, and this is-"

"I'm Roan! Pleased to meet you. Say, you look like a sensible person. What do you say we set up a... surprise for that dark teacher."

((If you mess with Narakun, you are messing with an angry woodchipper. =_=))

(((What? But... Pyrex gets away with it!

Too bad Roan hasn't unlocked more than one of his powers...)))

((Nyah...I wanna join))

Shin walked in, his hair dripping wet. He shook his hair, it re-spiking. ((Lol I just made up a word. 8D)) His eyes showed amusement as he saw Pyrex, Durandal, and his family.

"Ah, you guys. Getting stalked again?" Shin smirked and cracked his knuckles. "I need something to blow up.."

"That was quite a ting you did, blowing that shrine up. Jaffar'll be gone for some time now. It will take him a long time to build up enough energy to- oh no, unless he..." Roan trailed off into a babble at this point.

((@Durandal: Pyrex DOESN'T get away with it. =_=))

((He doesn't))

Pyrex's eyes lit up. Although he had considerable respect for Headmaster-san, he needed some action. Things had been rather boring lately.

"A surprise? FUN!" Pyrex said. He smiled happily. But this was all just smoke a mirrors. He was really listening to Roan. Another monster roaming around the island. First his father dies, then Natsuki tries to kill him, and now all of this.

(((Lol. Pyrex would be listening to Roan either way.)))

"What? A surprise? Oh, yes... We'll work on that in a minute. Right now, we should prevent new comers from submiting to become teachers." Roan said.

"What? You don't honestly mean..." Durandal began.

"He succeeded." Raven finished. None of them were happy about that. None at all.

With the exception of Wulf, who was too busy stuffing his mouth to pay attention.

((Very Carefully))

Pyrex grabbed some of the sparkling cider and placed it in a glass. He began to sip it slowly.

"So, what's this great plan of yours?"

"What... Oh, uh... Well, there's not much we can do about Jaffar, so... uh... Well, what has worked in the past? Roan mumbled. Behind him, Durandal could be seen practicing the manuveur known to many as facepalming.

EDIT: Yeah! 117th post! Awesome number all!

"NO SILLY! About Headmaster-San! How are we gonna pull a prank on her?"

"And Jaffar, what is that all about anyways? Another guy coming to attack our island?"

"Well, yes. Jaffar is the guy who blew up the shrine and tried to kill one of your teachers. As for our target... Would the ol' 'bucket of water on the door' trick work on her?" Roan asked; this potential prank was drawing away from his anxiety about Jaffar's return.

Wulf and Raven wandered off to explore.

But Durandal stayed. He had a feeling that it would be better to prevent this prank.

"Guys, are you sure it would be appropiate to pull this off? Much less... safe?"

"If it's safe, it's boring." Shin smirked.

"Well, I haven't pulled a prank in so long. Bucket on the door is to simple. But I can do something." Pyrex smiled. "You see, I can do this." Everyone around him felt a slight feeling of nausea coming on. Strength of the nausea difffered between all experiencing it. "You see, we get her some of this food and force this aura onto her. Great Idea, right. She'll never have sweets again!"

Pyrex gave a goofy grin.


Theas was not grinning. Theas left the room quietly, things to do.

The doors flew open, hitting the opposite wall with a bang, and Aima, soaking wet and ear pressed flat against her head trudged in, water dripping off of her as she went.

She looked just about ready to kill someone, her eyes narrowed as she glared at everyone and everything.

It was obvious Aima hated being wet.

Natsuki followed behind, a little wet, but not really concerned about it.

Aima shook the water off like a wet dog does, sending a shower of water droplets everywhere and soaking everyone within a 3-foot radius.

Natsuki seemed unphased as the drops pelted her in her nice silver and blue sweater.

There was a short pause, then Aima said "Hi." In a tone conveying pure annoyance.

((Uhm, I have an explanation of why she didn't go insane when she got wet this time. o3o

So yeah.))

"Hey Aima!" said Pyrex with a smile.

"We're thinking about pulling a prank on good old-"

Pyrex stopped, he knew better than to go onwards.

Durandal stepped back, a bit nervous at Aima's appearence. Roan, on the other hand, was quite oblivious. He was starting to think that the bucket-of-water prank might work better on this one...

Aima suppressed a growl at Pyrex when he approached her, but raised an eyebrow at Pyrex's unfinished sentence.

Putting it aside for now, Aima slinked over to the table filled with meats, and filled a plate with different meats until it threatened to over flow.

She then sat at a table in the corner, and began tearing away at a large chunk of ham.

"Please excuse my sister." Natsuki said, her aura of coldness surprisingly not as strong as usual. "She dislikes the rain. And having encountered some when she is still on the mend from Mitsuki's attack... Well, it's unpleasant for her."

"Is... Is she aware of our... New problem?" Durandal asked. He suddenly had the feeling that this academy regularly became a dangerous place.

Pyrex frowned, "No rain eh? I love it myself. And yeah, has Aima been warned about the new monsters that have made their way to our little safe-haven?"
