Personality: Toru is a quiet boy. He keeps his thoughts mostly to himself and spends hours watching battles of other trainers. He often appears to be emotionless, but this is merely a facade; when he gets into a battle himself, he quickly becomes an energetic and vicious opponent. In the time that he isn't sleeping, battling or watching other battles, he's typically training with his Pokemon. Toru often spars with his Riolu to keep himself in shape.

Clothing: When he isn't training, Toru wears a long coat and scarf, regardless of weather. He also wears boots and jeans, even when training.

Pokemon: Tal'tat (Absol), Isaem (Riolu) and Aranar (Bronzor)

History: Toru found Tal'tat, his first Pokemon, when he was only 6. The Absol had been injured in a fight which broke off part of the blade on his head, and Toru nursed him back to health. Once he was healthy again, Tal'tat stayed with Toru until Toru became a trainer. Once that happened, his older brother Riley gave him a Riolu, Isaem. After a few years of wandering, during which he caught Aranar, he decided to come to Neo Challenges Island to improve his skills as a trainer.
