A question

Okay, this is a game idea I've been hatching for a while, but I had never actually had the time or dedication to start it. The game itself is based on the various pokemon games, but it's expanded to a much larger scene area. The game would take a while, but I would like to know if people are interested in it what-so-ever?

Okay the game's hopeful specs are:

1. All 493 pokemon completely functional.

2. The ability to join Team Rocket, Team Magma, etc. Or to become a League Enforcer, Police Officer, Gym Leader, Elite Four Member, Ranger, etc.

3. 12 working leagues, with their own championships.

4. Working Championships with a total of 128 entry positions. Winning the league would qualify you for a special 'Elite Four Challenge' which would let you attempt to beat one of the Elite Four of whatever continent you're on and taking their place.

5. A Special 'Hardcore' League with special privileges and conditions. These are explained on the website. If you guys want me to, then I'll also post them here.

As you can see I'm just starting this off. That's because I had originally designed it to be a Byond game, but it kinda went in a different direction and I switched to another game maker engine.

That sounds pretty kewl actually... Also it would be cool to be a bad-guy.. lol

You guys gotta vote lol =PP. And I don't particularly need anyone right now, as the game will at first only include the indigo league. Then through various updates, I'll slowly add the other leagues to the game.

Ah, so your actually planning to make this game? Interesting....I can't help with coding, but if you need art work, or any ideas, ask me. A friend and I tried to make a few games, but we never seemed to finish them.

Not a coder. Except for a bit in Squeak, mind a bit. Never could understand programming.

Yes it would be an MMO, but obviously smaller. I don't have the people necessary to maintain a large server like Gaia. This would most likely only be able to hold between 100-200 people at a time. If people show interest, then I might make the server I'll be using a little better (so it'll hold more people) but not at the beginning.

MMO = Massively Multiplayer Online

MMORPG = MMO + RPG (Role-Playing Game).

MMO is a shortened version of an MMORPG.

It's understood though, that unless you mention a specific sub-genre, an MMO refers to an MMORPG.
