[Entry Exam]--Aima V.S. Toru

I hope you'll forgive me if I'm a bit rusty, it's been a while. I trust you've read all the rules?

((Let's see... Roll a dice for each attack, multiply by 10 for damage. Adanar and Isaem have 100 HP and Tal'tat has 150 HP.))

Aima walked out onto the field, throwing the hair out of her face like a dog shaking off water. It'd been a while since she'd been here. She'd heard there was a new student, and she was in charge of him entry exam...

"Let's go, Kiba." She said, sending out her Arcanine.

She awaited the approach of her opponent.

Toru smiled. "I've gotta fight you, eh? Alright. Come on, Isaem, let's roll." He let out the Riolu.


Isaem/Riolu

Aima sized up her opponent. She figured she'd judge his character better in battle.

"Guests first" She said calmly, eyes focused on him.

"Very well. Let's open things big. Isaem! Earthquake!" Toru yelled. The small Pokemon leapt into the air and slammed its feet into the ground, sending a wave of earth at the Arcanine.

Kiba leapt up, but not high enough, still taking some damage from the earth wave.

Aima stood her ground as the tremor shook the stadium around her. "Let's send it right back with a Fire Fang!" She exclaimed, flame already cloaking Kiba's fangs as he leapt forward for the attack.

Isaem cried out in pain. "Isaem! Hit 'em with another quake! Make sure it hurts!" Toru yelled. Isaem grabbed the Arcanine and stomped on the ground, sending out another wave of earth.

Kiba growled and leaned forward so that he was held up by Isaem, completely off of the ground for a split second. In that second, he then pushed off of Isaem, back-flipping out of the way of the initial damage and receiving some of the aftershock damage. ((PHYSICS, WHAT'S THAT?))

It's been a while since Aima had seen him do that... She shook off the awe just in time to give the next order when Kiba landed.

"Extreme Speed!" She yelled, Kiba taking off in a flash towards his prey.

Toru grimaced as the Arcanine hit Isaem. "Isaem, hit him with an Aura Sphere!" Isaem summoned a ball of glowing energy and hurled it at Kiba. The ball curved through the air to strike the Pokemon.

Kiba was knocked back a good few feet, backed up onto his hind legs. He then dropped down on all fours, panting. While he regained his breath, Aima shouted: "Sunny Day!". He huffed, then craned his head skyward and howled.

Any clouds in the sky vanished, and the sun seemed to shine brighter as the surrounding stadium warmed up. Kiba's eyes flashed back down to lock with Isaem's, waiting for his next move.

(+10 to Fire Moves for 5 turns)

((Poor Aranar. He's screwed in at least 3 ways right now.))

"Argh. Isaem, shake down the house! Earthquake!" Toru yelled. Isaem punched the earth, sending yet another shock wave out.

"This really should be damaging the arena more. Impressive construction, I must say."

Kiba staggered back, toppling head over heels. He growled, hunched over, and looked up, ears flat against his head.

Aima smirked at the kid's remark about the stadium. "Well, we do try." She said, now giving thought to exactly what this stadium was made of, and how Hitorii did it. "Now Kiba, let's give 'em a Fire Fang!" She said, the harsh sun stinging her eyes.

Kiba panted for a second, then leapt forward, fangs swirling with fire once more.

"Ishaem!" Toru cried as the Riolu fell back, knocked out. He recalled the Pokemon. He looked down for a moment, then back up with a feral grin. "Alright, Aranar, come on out!" The disc-like Bronzor floated, intimidated by the Arcanine in front of it. "Aranar! Our will is iron! Our fury is our armor! Iron Defense!"

Aranar somehow became more metallic in appearance, a silvery sheen covering it.

((A-yup. -20 damage.))

((Yeesh. Though considering the SE and Sunny Day, it'll just be the dice damage. o3o))

Kiba growled at the arrival of the new opponent. "Fire Fang." Aima said calmly, more speaking out of courtesy than for the purpose to convey information.

Again, Kiba charged ad the steely Aranar, fangs bared.

The stones struck Kiba, knocking spittle from his mouth and the wind from his lungs, knocked onto his hind legs. He stood upright for a second, wobbled a bit, and then fell backwards, unconscious on the ground.

Aima loosed a small growl as the clouds returned to the sky, and the sunlight lessened. She held out Kiba's Great Ball. "Kiba, return!" she commanded, a blue light enveloping Kiba, and drawing him into the safety of the Great Ball.

This kid was good.

"Let's go, Hakuro!" Aima said, tossing a Friend Ball into the air.



Hakuro/Houndoom
HP: 200/200

The Houndoom leapt out of the green light, and flicked it's tail in eagerness.

"Hakuro, Give 'em a Flamethrower!" She yelled, as Hakuro obeyed, and spewed flames at Aranar.

The Houndoom's flames were too much for Aranar, and it wobbled for a moment before falling to the ground. "You did good, Aranar," Toru whispered as he recalled the Bronzor. "Alright, fun time is over! Tal'tat, go!"

"Now, use Superpower!" The Absol shot forward and slammed its shoulder into Haruko, knocking the Houndoom back.
