Brunch

I wonder if anyone will come.. Thought Mikala. She has been sitting in here for a while eating an omelet with an english muffin on the side and some orange juice. She didn't tell anyone she was coming here, she just came hoping to have a nice brunch with someone. She went to her purse to listen to her ipod. She turned to the song "Clocks" by Coldplay. She started playing along on piano by drumming her fingers against the table while she ate.

((don't worry Mikala, you can have a Pyrex-free Brunch. I will not impede....))

((I have been wanting to RP with someone in the cafeteria for a while.....and Hitorii disapeared so the topic in the plains is stopped))

Nagara walked into the cafeteria, hungry. She likes to sleep in to 9:00, and she isnt hungry for a while.

She walked over to the food and thought about what to have.

"I'll have two apple crepes, a chocolate muffin, and a glass of whole milk. Please."

The lunch lady gave her the food. "Here you are dear"

Nagara walked to a table and was about to sit down when she saw Mikala. They have met, but it was a while ago.

She mustered up her courage and walked over to Mikala."Is this seat taken?"

"Not at all. i was actually hoping someone would come and eat with me." Mikala said while chewing on her omelet.

"Sorry." Mikala wiped her mouth." So hows it been....Nagara, right?"

Nagara sat down next to Mikala. and started talking to her.

"Things have been........strange here. But I can adapt.

Nagara bent down and started to eat her crepe, but it fell open almost instantly.

"Dang....

"Its okay. One time i was eating a burrito and when i picked it up, everything fell out the bottom." Mikala said with a smile on her face.
"So do you have a dorm yet?"

Nagara gave a little chuckle in amusement

"I developed a way to prevent that. All you have to do is fold the bottom in, so its like a little packet."

Mikala Smiled. " Oh.. thanks,I'll remember that next time I eat a burrito. But, you didn't answer my question. Do you have a dorm yet?" Mikala looked at Nagara with questioning eyes.

"Oh, sorry. Yes I do have a dorm, but I'm waiting for the right time to move in."

Nagara took a bite out of her muffin, and then a sip from her milk.

'I'm in suicune. Your headmaster of Moltres, right?"

She gave Mikala the same questioning eyes.

"Yeah, your right, I am." Mikala said with a giggle. "Sorry, whenever i get serious in a conversation i end up giggling." Mikala giggled again as she cut off a piece of her omelet and put it in her mouth.

"Heh...thats funny"

Nagara then started to fold up her cerpe.

"I wish I had come earlier.... because I cound be a headmaster too. But I'm content with being a teacher. I basicly have the same power but.... And Nagara trailed off

" I know what you mean. Its the same thing how i feel with other things. You have something good, but there's something better. I get that feeling a lot."

Mikala drank some of her orange juice and ate the piece of omelet that she was holding for a while. " So when do you think is the right time to move into your dorm?"

((Really when Aima finishes my avatar, then i'll do my profile, and then move in......))

"Oh I dont know. I'll poabably(sp) put it off for a while and then move in.

Nagara started to eat her cerpe, but she was tence as if she was ready for it to fall apart again.

"Cool.. I was wondering if maybe you can tell me about your past, your family. For me its just easier to make friends when i know them more than everyone. I can compare and make them feel better."

Mikala got up to put her tray on top of the trash can and throw away her trash. She went to grab a croissant and sat back down croissant in one hand, napkin in the other.

Nagara stopped eating almost right after Mikala had asked about her history. It was full of tears for Nagara.

She sighed and responded to Mikala.

"If I tell you, you have to swear on your life you will never tell anyone. It wound help if you told me your history then."
((Its not exactly necessary for you to swear on your life...but it would help nagara feel better))

" I swear, and i promise i will tell you everything that Narakun has told me about our past. No tell me what has happened in your history. " Mikala said while holding up her pinkie and staring at Nagara.

Nagara sighed and begain her story.

"I ame the youngest child of four in a family of pokemon professor's. Though because of a blow to my head, I cant remember who my father was. Being his daughter, I went to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh and chose a starter from each reagion. Those are my Empoleon, Sceptile, Clarizard, and Meganium.

On the day of my ninth birthday, I recived a Vulpix with a black mark from my brothers and sister. That Vulpix became a Ninetales, Black Fire.

Before I say the next part I just want to mention two things. One: Our house was between a beach, lake, mountain with a cave and snowy peak, a forest and grassland. So it was perfect for studying pokemon. Two: Everyone in my family studied something. I studied baby pokemon. So that night I went to the mountain looking for cleffa. I took all my pokemon with me....and good thing I did.

When I came back home.....My family was gone. My dad, mom, two brothers, sister, and grandparrents, all gone. Even all the pokemon were gone. And the most important one was obviously gone."

Nagara stopped and tearded up a little bit.

"My father was studying Deoxys."

"There was only one pokemon left. A wounded Arcanine my sister was taking care of. You can assume I have a Arcanine."

"Everyone in my family loves to swim. My grandparents even do to, but they had large water pokemon. I thought they went to the beach. When nobody was there, I thought they went out into the water. My starters were still stage one, so I released my Prinplup. and went out. I traveled for about nine miles until I hit land......"

Nagara was actu allt crying a little now.

"I'm sorry, just give me a minute"

"Its okay, i kinda know how you feel. I don't know who my parents are at all. I only really know that Narakun is my twin sister. I might know more, but, it just hasn't clicked or came back yet." Mikala Put her hand on Nagara's shoulder.
" But at least look at it like this, you know about your past because you remembered it. I only remember stuff up until a certain point in my life, everything else is just a lost memory never to be returned." Mikala's eyes started to get teary-eyed.

Nagara wiped her eyes and gave a little sniffle.

"Im better now, I can continue.

"Well, I hit land and there was nothing on the beach. There was a forest, so I just went in. I walked about three miles when the undergroath got to thick. By now my urge wasnt my family, it was my crave for adventure that kept me going. I released mt Grovyle and Charmeleon to help me get through the brambles.

For the record, the Charmeleon was using its claws, and held his tail up against his back, so nothing caught on fire.

Well.........It looked like I had goten through the brambles and I saw some strange trees. I thought, 'Nagara,why would there be these strange trees?' So I walked ahead, and didn't look at the ground.

I was about five feet frome the strange trees, when I fell. I fell in a ditch. At the bottom of the ditch......was a swamp.

The swamp was similar to the Great Marsh in the Sinnoh Region, yet it was......swamp-y-er. When all my pokemon had reached me, we decided to explore, becaude the ditch was roughly thirteen feet high, so we wernt getting out any time soon. The trees I saw were in the middle of the swamp, and they were.............tall, I'll put it that way.

Not long after we started walking, we saw a Skorupi, Wooper, and Koffing, pokemon you would expect to see in a swamp. But then there was trouble... there were tribes of each of thoes pokemon and there evolutions. Not only that, there was most poison pokemon known there.

A few drapion came up to us and forced us to the area where the trees were. Turned out the trees were in a ring. I returned my pokemon, but then they came back out. I knew they would support me and protect me. Except Black Fire who was a baby vulpix and wanted to snuggle.

Nagara smiled and chuckled to a good memory. Then she continued.

"About ten min. later, a Abok, Seviper, Drapion, Nidoking, Muk, Weezing, Swalot, Skuntank, and Toxicroak came. My pokemon and I were shoved to the middle of the ring, while the pokemon stood in front of the trees. then a Quagsire appeared and stood on a rock in front of me. It was then I discovered I could do what a lot of people can do. I can think-speak to pokemon.

Apparently the pokemon live in seperate tribes,the pokemon in the rings were the leaders of the tribes, and discused proablems here. the Wooper and Quagsire were the most important, so the head Quagsire was the head pokemon period.

I gained the pokemon's trust and was permited to stay as long as I want. I estimated I would stav for a week and leave, but I was happy there.

Nagara was panting and took a bid swallow of milk.

"Can I take a break?" She said while smiling meekly.

"Sure, take as long as you want. " Mikala took a bite of her croissant and wiped her mouth with her napkin.

" That sound like quite an adventure so far. I wish i could remember my childhood, from what i remember it must have been exciting, yet mysterious at the same time...." Mikala trailed off looking into space.

"Where was I......ah yes.

I started to study the herbs there and finding their uses. I started mixing herbs, finding new herbs, and mixing herbs with other things. I discovered many useful things. From medicine to magic basicly..

Time was passing right before me, because I loved what I was doing. I kept my creations in hollowed out rocks thanks to a drapion. The most important one is right here."

Nagara pulled out a vile of rainbow liquid inside a beaker from her handbag.((I know I never said she had one, but she does))

"I keep it for emergencies. What it does is top secret.

At some point I gained a connection to the weaker members of a few of the tribes, and trained them with my pokemon. When I tuned fourteen, My four main pokemon had evolved. When I turned sixteen, I caught A Quagsire, Seviper, Arbok, and Weezing.

I was there for nine years. When I turned eightteen, I decided it was time to leave. I said my goodbys to the pokemon and climbed out.

Instead of destroying the brambles like I did the first time, I pushed them away, and back in place. I didnt want the swamp to be found. Once I put all the brambles back, I walked while looking over my sholder until I couldnt see the brambles. Once I looked straight, I hit my head against a branch the size of a 20 year old tree.

When I woke up, I couldnt remember who my dad was, where the swamp was, and any of the minor adventures I had there.

I left for Hoenn and stayed there for a year. While there, I caught a Qwilfish and Manetric. I think you can figure out the rest."

When Nagara finally stoped, she was slightly wheesing, and started eating her food again.

"Wow.. thats a really long and interesting history....." Mikala took the last bite of her croissant and wiped her mouth with her napkin. " So hows those crepes? They look delicious."

"Well, whats your history?" Nagara said with her elbow on the table.
