Contests!

My friend and I came up with an awsome pokemon for contests. However, I'm not allowed to tell anyone yet. Anyway, I am ok at contests so if anyone is wanting to have a contest, let me know.

Hoenn or Sinnoh?

On here. I don't have Wi-Fi either.

Well, I guess we could keep it simple at first and use the Hoenn style for now. However, if you can make the Sinnoh rules work, that would be fine too.

Hoenn would probably be a good way to start.

We would need 2 more people... Or just make up some. =/

Unfortunately, I don't remember how to play Hoenn contests. I never had any of the 3rd Generation games, only borrowed one for a short time. I might need a little help.

Well, that was really easy. Anyway, Master Aima and I are trying to make some rules or whatever on how this will work. I just say we need a chart telling how effective a move is, and just start off with the appeal part.

How does it work in the show?

lawlz. On the show there are 3 judges and a host. There are 2 rounds, Appeals and Battles. Thats basically it, =.= Oh yeh. The finalists battle, appeals people can get eliminated and not go

Hello, i love contests and i htink a anime contest might be smart.
We have 3 judges and then the contestants say what moves they use and what they do.
Example, you could say medicham uses rock slide to place rocks over it.
Then it uses jump kick to break free and the rocks fly everywhere.
Finally he uses confusion to levitate the rocks and make them fly around him.
Finally he shoots them sky high before crushing them into beautiful dust that slowly floats down.
Then the judges say which contestant had the coolest act and that person wins.
The whole contest battles whould be avoided though.

I wish to become Master of Ceremonies when it comes to contests.
I have also thought out the entire hting.
You start out with a prepared act like i posted before.
You gain points for
Originality (using a new combo is worth more points, using a combo you used before is anywhere from 1-4 mattering on how many times you have used it, and stealing a combo is worth no points!) up to 5 points
Amount of Description (more detail eqauls more points) up to 5
Sticking to the theme (No beauty when it comes to coolness) up to 10 points.
After that we do a few rounds of classic game appeals. Combos are not aloud in Normal thorugh Ultra Ranks. They are alloud in Master and Hyper.
You must go up the ranks to get to Hyper contests. Teachers do not get a free pass!
The ranks give different ammounts of appeal rounds.
Normal-4
Super-5
Ultra-6
Master-8
Hyper-10
Each Round has a pre-anounced theme, from Smart to Cool.
Ribbon's (if anyone can make artwork for them you would make me smile just like this ) are placed on the signature
When enough people have acheived strong ranks then i might organize some good events like a Wallace Cup or Grand Festival (from the Anime)

Yeah, but shouldn't we get Aima-chan on here to approve first? 'Cause if you're gonna be a student, it might be kinda weird to have you be "Master of Ceremonies" and all that......

I mean, just an opinion, but because of status, I think that Aima should make final decisions on most things. Everyone else can make suggestions and stuff, but Aima's the founder of the site and all, so I think she has the most right to making rules and stuff.

EDIT: Oh yeah, BTW, I know where you can get pre-made ribbons.

But i love contests!
Plus my ideas would work.
And if youdon't think i would fit, ask owatasumi, he'll vouch for me.

=_= Owatatsumi is ALSO a student, not a teacher/admin.....But if other teachers "vouch" for you, then you could definetely be contest master.
